The breakfast was quite good and varied. The location was a bit farther from the beaches than expected. If you're using a rental car, though, it's manageable. A pleasant experience with great service.

We booked for 11 nights and stayed 1 night as the room was dark and the view outside was of decaying pipes .This was supposed to be a superior room with terrace and sea views.

Everything was high quality, nevertheless a few employees were very busy.

Had the best family vacation at hilton galatzo! The staff were super attentive. Our family suite was way bigger than we expected, super clean, and comfy with 3 TVs! Breakfast and dinner were delish, tons of choices, and big shoutout to diogo for the special brownies he arranged for us.

That was well-appointed hotel set in really quiet area, just off the airport. The food was exceptional with plenty of choice! The location was stunning and lovely, venue is based away from hustle and bustle. Plenty of restaurants to eat close by, like Restaurante China Ming that was only 25 minutes' walk away. The service was very good and the pool was nice. Spa area was much appreciated.

the shower by one of the swimming pool wasn't working, poor access to hotel facilities and not enough people on the reception desk. You will need to rent a car, nice location but far from everything.

the family pool is lovely but crowded with inflatables and ball games. breakfast buffet ran out of items and was very hot.

The location was good as it wa close to a nice town but a decent drive from Palma. The pools and hotel design were also very good.

We stayed in a villa which had a few issues. 1) the room wasn't ready until 4 despite a 3pm check in 2) the bathroom door could not physically close 3) the bar fridge did not work and 4) hotel staff could have been more attentive - certainly not bad service but the impression was that we were just another customer as opposed to other hotels we stayed at that consistently go out of their way to make our stay better.

The Galatzo Hotel is a fantastic find. I've stayed in many 4 and 5 star hotels on the Island and this ranks amongst the best. The views are amazing and if you want a relaxing day you really cannot fault the pool at the Vista De Rey. Its rarely busy and the staff (especially David) are exceptional and nothing is too much for them. The balinese sunbeds are good value at €50 per day as the include a bottle of cava, truffles and fresh fruit. The restaurant here is also very good but avoid the prawns as they were not cleaned as they should be and they gritty vein was left inside rendering them inedible. I travelled with my girlfriend and 8 year old daughter and both enjoyed themselves immensely. We had a family room which was ideal for our needs - comfortable beds, excellent air conditioning and a nice big bathroom. I can highly recommend a couple of restaurants - La Hacienda in Peguera has some of the best stakes I've ever tasted. La Gritta between Calla Fornells and Peguera has some beautiful food and some of the most amazing views you could wish for. If you have a car (i'd highly recommend that you do - carhire3000.com very reasonable at €110 euro for the week) I'd suggest a visit to Port Andratx. Its very beautiful with an excellent choice of restaurants. The italian restaurant Riva was our favorite as it was ideal for my daughter. Avoid the restaurant Blau Mar as its trluy appaling! very expensive and not particularly good.

Nothing really other than our patio door wouldn't lock, the safe didn't work and no duvet for my daughters bed on arrival but all fixed very quickly after a visit to reception. Also for those with young children the room TV has only one english channel (BBC Worldwide News). All the rest in German. Be warned that theres 24 hour hardcore pornography on the TV without a pass code. Luckily my daughter wasn't subjected to this but that was more luck than judgement. Needless to say the TV was not used for the whole week! These are only minor complaints and really shouldn't put you off using this rather lovely hotel.

100% recommend for a weekend excursion

Immaculate room, spacious room with a balcony that offered a fine view of the surroundings and delicious breakfast options like fresh fruit and local pastries.

Location and views are fantastic. Handy for shopping and beach, but you need a car.

Noisy hotel. Rooms (many) overlook pool and evening terrace/entertainment area. Staff clear restaurant during entertainment with much noise. Food is mediocre, not up to standard of room rates. There are better hotels on Mallorca for this price, but not with Galatzo's views/location. Not the place for a quiet getaway, but OK if you don't want much sleep!

Great view and nice view, you can totally relax of staying at this hotel, especially for a couple or family! We would stay again this hotel when we return back to Mallorca.

Location - hardly access by public transportation, but not far by driving just around 20 to 30 mins from airport. As we rent a car so we dont mind staying a bit far to reach this cool hotel.

The Hilton should really reconsider their 5-star status. The so-called 'adult-only' area was overrun with children, and the food was utterly inedible, disgusting. After enduring this nightmare, I would have appreciated a complimentary upgrade or at least a sincere apology but instead got nothing! I almost left a decent review but just couldn't.
